I love this.
I love this building + I also love drawing this building. I feel like I draw this building even when I’m drawing and painting made-up cities and buildings I’ve never seen. It’s there the same way that rooftop water tanks are there from my rooftop in alphabet city and snaking el tracks from my commute in Chicago. 
Probably more.
Providence is a rooted thing inside people around here. I’ve seen it in other people the way I feel it. It reminds me, more than any other places I’ve called home, that linear time is a complete lie.
